AUGUST 20, 2008 leather leggings? [hannah]
so i was checking out a fashion blog earlier [fashion for breakfast]
and leather tights are in!?
somehow, i have taken a strange fascination with them. i think paired with tunic
tops and cute, big heels, they'd be amazing. way more chic than your typical
skinny jeans for the whole nightlife scene.
i think they'd be cute with boots
too. this pose does not do the leggings any justice. these leggings are from
american apparel.
but then again, american apparel has weird poses when they photograph their
models.
gahh! so many things that i want to get for the fall season! too bad my
paychecks aren't big enough for all this !! 
i really want to go visit horton plaza before school starts [aug 25!!]. i want
to go see the sanrio store! i keep forgetting that it's there. i also want to go
to the new forever 21. i went with victor last week, but i wasn't in the mood to
try anything on really. and i didnt have any money >.< i can't wait for the h&m
to open up at fashion valley!
this morning i called verizon wireless to change my calling plan. last month's
phone bill was $90! that's so takai [expensive] !! it should cost around $60. so
the lady told me that i went over my 900 minutes calling plan and that's why it
was so much. and i went over my 1500 limit on texting. so i reduced my texting
plan to 500. i want to text less now! and i need to start talking less on the
phone. i forgot to take insurance off my phone, gahh! i have to call them again.
so today i'm hopefully going to buy my school books! the total isn't as much as
it was for me freshman year! at the most it's going to be $300. yaay,
freshman year my books totaled around $500-550. crazy! gah, i'll blog later.

AUGUST 18, 2008 niabot! [NIA]
Here are my new bikini pieces ^_^ The top is a really bright pinky peachy color and the bottoms are a light electric blue!
I added the purple metallic NIABOT logo today on the backside ^_^ Hence, the photo above! I am stoked to wear it on Saturday at the beach party ^_^
Well, today Erica went to her freshman orientation and I am so flippin excited that she's coming to the highschool with me...I just feel bad because she's a freshie and I'll be a senior :[ Only one year together.
Anyway, I'm also afraid because she's new to the people, because she went to a private school last year so it's basically like thrusting her into the middle of a bunch of snotty strangers. Grawr. She can hang with me...she's my bestfriend anyways ^_^

AUGUST 17, 2008 Marketplace! [NIA]
Well Hannie my dear and lovely sister, you have amazed me! I knew you were capable but the layout turned out so beautiful!
I hate that picture of me, but I don't care! ^_^ Lookin good ane-san ^_^
Anyways, I would love to report on today's events and ongoings!
Sundays are church days so of course our morning activities were occupied by that for a couple of hours...I got to see Gregory Marx today so that made me very extremely happy ^_^
He made me laugh. And Aaron Ruano made me smile! His brother is so funny it's really quite sad.
Anyway, after that we had a very restful afternoon until about 3:40 p.m. when we trekked out to
MITSUWA for some marketplace shopping and to check out the new location of
TRENDY [I really don't know why they named it this...?]. Hannie & me saw Koki and Ellis and they were their usual quirky selves. I got a backpack and Koki gave us Tofu Record clear bags..?? Yeah, idk either.
I really wanted to get a KUROMI backpack, but this one was all pastel and kawaii and I'm so tired of black backpacks! [despite how adorable KUROMI is]. The truth is, I don't have the patience to wait to go to the Sanrio in Hornton Plaza !!
And then I went to the bookstore inside of MITSUWA and bought my stock of magazines ^_^ Hannie got a
Blenda mag as well, but it's not pictured :[ Okay, the total for the magazines cost about $31. Whew! Talk about budget. But I go all weak and jelly-legged at the hand of
Japanese fash mags ^_^ You can't blame me!
I honestly had to get the new
EGG mag after
Hachi totally recommended to buy it ^_^ She was right! Kaoru has an entire LOOONG editorial in it! Anyway, then we went home to cook for dinner!
The menu = Udon noodles with Japanese mushroom soup and shrimp tempura. OIISHIIII! So delicious. But honestly, do NOT peel/gut shrimp. It's rather disgusting/smelly/unnerving. Ahh, but the cooked product tastes sooo good. I love cooking with my mom ^_^ She's amazing!
Oh! And we got milk tea ^_^ It was a different brand than the small bottles we usually get, but you could tell it was way healthier. [more black tea, less milk, still as sweet and yummy!] And we got enough Udon noodles to feed the entire east side of SD. I arranged an entire noodle drawer in the fridge!!

Oh! And we got new bowls for soup/noodles/rice/etc. Quite cute! I love
MITSUWA because there are so many hidden surprises! And they're remodeling the entire back wall to become an arcade and PACHINKO! [sp?] place! I really really hope they have para-para. Hannie and me want to try it so bad! And PURIKURA! so fun!
I guess they're doing all this to keep up with competition, aka the MARUKAI market that just opened up down the street....Oh well, I'm excited either way!
Anyway, I'd better get to working on changing all of the pages to this new layout!! YAY HANNIE!

AUGUST 15, 2008 celebrate [NIA]
Today was such a doozy. Woke up, watered plants [haha!],
went to gym, went to the shop and had lunch with mama & Eri, watched
half of the new Soul Eater episode, fell asleep, drove to
Fashion Valley
with the Kiesow females, shopped around! [and found an ultra adorable
bikini], went to P.F. Chang's, used chopsticks with amazing grace,
headed back into F.V. to the A.M.C. theater to watch The Mummy 3, got
out at like 10:00, headed out to Starbucks, then drove home with Hannie
with Nirvana blasting!
I sewed that dress I'm wearing ^_^
So Fashion Valley is honestly the epitome of shopping centers[ I hate
the word mall] Their Forever21 makes the one in our close shopping center look like complete crap. It's so shiny and refurbished and they had an entire wall display of berets in whites and purples and pinks and blacks!! KAWAIIII !! And the thing is seriously like a monstrosity of a store. It's gargantuan! I loved it. I miss F.V. so badly :[ I hate that I live so far from it now! We used to go there all the time :[ It's amazing.
Anyway, after watching the Mummy, I've decided that I just love Brendan Fraiser. I saw him speak live last month and he is just hilarious and amazing and such a babe for being as old as he is ^_^ I was bummed they didn't use the same Eevee in the movie. [Wow, I love how I spelled her name like the
Pokemon]
I'm going to sleep. I should really start working on getting to bed earlier...1 a.m. is kind of ridiculous.
AUGUST 14, 2008 HAPPY BIRTHDAY! [NIA]
Happy Birthday Nia Kiesow! Yes, officially
17-years-old. So strange and new and exciting.......haha riiiight. I
feel completely the same, sane, and I have no need to complain. Today
was baking, which was expected on a mid-August day..so I spent the day
first in front of a high-power fan...and then to
Barnes & Nobles [the
old typical haunt] for some air-conditioning medicine.
It was there that I met up with my darling friend Lulu who is my secret
keeper and music siamese sister [joined at the head for some amazing
music taste] and we shot the wind, read muse mags and drank good things.
[We discovered a babydoll kitty print on the inside of the cap of a
Jones soda]. Kawaiiii!!
And for my birthday pleasures she bought me a soft cool-color-toned purple shirt and a beaded ring ^_^ Beautiful. And Hannah bought me an AMAZING sweashirt that Victor picked out and I kind of love it! It's wild and neon and the zipper is blue...hmm...SUGOIII !
Grandpa Marv & Nanna Delores sent me the usual beautiful card with a check inside ^_^ I love them dearly. Gahhh I miss them so much!
And the evening events consisted of
Whitecup for some mango frozen yogurt and mochi on top! And then to In & Out for food...but I didn't eat. Not hungry...The REAL festivities begin tomorrow, when Hannah's not working and we all go out on the town!!
skittles & ginger ale...anyway, little did we know that the thing would make us stop breathing for a second when we breathed into the cup. Took us like, 4 gulps to figure it out. Gahahaha we're so dumb ^_^
AUGUST 13, 2008 Snapshot [NIA]
Today I'm taking my senior pictures ^_^ !!
Honestly though, when I really think about it...why do we even have to
bother with it? I mean, why not just take the standardized school
picture and be done with it? Do we really need those other formal ones?
Ugh. The quality honestly sucks too. They have a slogan that pretty much
says "we want to capture you as you are in highschool" but okay...as if
standing by a barn scene or river is actually how I am....? Weird.

Anyway, so I sent out online invitations to everyone and I really hope
that everyone
DOES come to the party! My actual birthday is tomorrow and
I seriously don't even feel like it's coming...Hannah has to work
tomorrow and I am so triple bummed out about that...but at least i get
to see my darling Lulu tomorrow when we hang out at
B&N

so much.

for the summer reading, but the book seriously isn't bad at all. It
doesn't hurt that the main character is tall, dark, and handsome. I kind
of think of Lelouch from
Code Geass
when I read it.
Right now, I really really want to go to Mitsuwa and get the new issue

and
Jelly.

AUGUST 11, 2008 GIRL CRUSH [NIA]
Okay, so this post is inspired by something that
my own Jim Halpert talked to me about last week. The subject of a guy
having a "man-crush". Tim/Jim said that a "man-crush" is when a guy kind
of falls in love with another guy, except not romantically, but I mean,
in an admirable sort of way. LIke, how some guys LOVE
Ladanian
Tomlinson...or envy
Brad Pitt and want to be just like him. IDK.
Something like that. So I've decided that I have a "girl-crush" but not
in a omg-I-want-to-marry-her. Weird. No! I admire her and seriously want
to be just like her ^_^ Kaoru Watanabe.
She's wild and funny and an AMAZING fashion designer. She basically just
knows how to live.
She makes me want to dye my
hair pink.
Anyway...tomorrow is Tuesday and I def. need to remind myself to roll
out of bed before 8 am to water the grass. Grawrr. I haven't been to
LA Fit
in a week either...ugh. To do list:
1. Call SD FOOD BANK for volunteer hours w/ KT
2. Call Chris to ask about dinner get together Friday!
3. Take Senior Pictures on Wednesday @ 12 noon.
4. Figure out what to do on my actual BDAY

6. Drop by the school to pick up my schedule

AUGUST 10, 2008 SLEEP DEPRIVED [NIA]
It's almost midnight and I am so tired !!
Yesterday's luau was way more fun than I expected ^_^ SOOOOOOO many
people showed up! The house was like freakishly frothing...ahhh. Spent
the entire time playing Egyptian Rat Screw with Connor & Chris & Jules &
Laura D. & Er. Then we all played a psycho game of
marco polo
in the pool? Connor kept grabbing my ankles >_< RAWR! But it was fun ^_^
Erica & I found some pretty hibiscus flowers to put in our hair. We
stole them from the lesbo house down the street ^_^ The new/old-style
longboard I got from Vic was wayyy too rickety to ride down the hill so
we had to settle for flat areas. rawr >_< Connor & Chris helped me
unscrew the rusty screw & nut though...I'm such a weakling I couldn't
hold on to both.
Anywayyyy I'm so very tired and need to start planning my birthday
party!! It's the annual beach birthday bash again....Let's hope everyone
comes! Last year was a freaking circus affair gahhh!

AUGUST 19, 2008 HOMEBOUND[NIA]
I'M BACK! YAY!
It feels so strange to be back...I feel really guilty actually. After
spending the week in the gnar ghetto of
San Fran...my house doesn't seem
so good anymore :[ Gyaaaaah. Anyway, I'll share some battle stories/war
stories about the good ol' tenderloin later...for now, I'll put up some
pictures ^_^ I didn't get to take any of the ghetto, so I'm pretty
bummed off that.
Okay, this random kid on the plane was "washing" his beanie baby in the
airblowers and saying..."TASTES LIKE CHICKEN!" so weird. hahhah
GHIRARDELLI SQUARE! Yes, we were complete tourists and just had to stop
for a while. Chris and Greg were going to kick pigeons O_O
KARA'S CUPCAKES of San Fran. SOOO amazing, Lizzie "lil bits" Grant and I
just had to have some ^_^

able to live with each other because you don't really know them until
you do...but with her, there is NO problem at all in any aspect. ^_^ I'm
happy happy happy !! We're going to go get

Anyway, tonight is the huge
HAWAIIAN LUAU the Kiesow house and Pinaire
family has been throwing together and stressing over for the past month.
Aahhhh starts at 5 pm and ends at 8 pm. Mom's whipping up a HUGE load of
fried rice right now ^_^ OIISHIIIII. It's making my stomach do some
funny growling! I'm stoked because Chris & Connor Wieck are coming
and I hope Gregory and [yay!] the Lechmann Fam. I can't wait to see Adam ^_^

call".. This noise seriously like, MADE the entire trip. Never fails to
get a kick out of me ^_^

AUGUST 2, 2008 Ready for Liftoff [NIA]
Hello hello! It is 12:15 AM and what am I doing still awake, you might
ask? Fretting over the last-minute packing....!! Am I forgetting
anything? The worst I can think of is forgetting a toothbrush or some
undies...gahhaha XD but I've packed those all ready!

Today was so hectic! Went everywhere...spent $450 at
PIER 1 IMPORTS
...Whew!! Daddy said to take back the lamps that are now standing in the
kitchen all rejected and dejected and sad :[ They are so cute though! I
got some nice goodies though!! By the brand
SUNDAE...everything smells
so good! From left to right: papaya body cream, caramel foot mask,
papaya sugar scrub, buttercream vanilla candle. My room is very happy
right now ^_^
Overalls I bought today!!
Ahhhh I am so excited to have found these!! I thought for a moment that
overalls had fallen off the face of the earth...NO ONE carried them. I
had to do some mass exploration and digging to find these babies. When I
get back from San Fran,
I'm going to cut & sew & revamp the white pair to make it a dress.
Possibly dye them a hot pink or purple... ^_^ Kawaiiiiiiiii !!
I got to see my godfather today and that made me very excited...he
hasn't been too good since he got his foot amputated :[ He was cute
though in his little remote control wheel chair with a honking orange
flag waving above it ^_^ I love him. Then zipped to
BEVMO!
for some wine :D gyahaha! I have this deathly fear of tipping over an
entire display of wine bottles...walking in the aisles seriously gives
me the creeps. I'm such a klutz I can't trust myself walking down one
without crossing my arms really tight and walking in a stiff, straight
line. I swear I'll tip one someday. Aaaah. But I was ecstatic to see the
old root beer display...they even had

Okay, well what I should be doing right now is cleaning out the casita

my mom's throwing on August 9th.
[The day after I get back from San Francisco]. Which also reminds me
that I have to fill my suitcase up! GAH! What to pack?
Sweatshirts...it's pretty chilly up there at night...or...this amazing

finally created a new container! I guess they figured out that
the spoon actually needs to fit through the opening in order to eat the
yogurt...........
And yum. Mom made THE best green beans and sun-dried tomatoes and garlic
with a dash of grapefruit juice in a stir fry....and then skewered
shrimp and of course rice and an egg for some protein ^_^
