Life in General Tuesday, February 17, 2009 -- NI-NI
Have I disappeared off the face of the earth? I think I have. Well, at least the
earth of CYBERWORLD. It seems I have not been on here in a gazillion years!
Eeeeek !! So much has happened in so little time...i feel that I should post up
pictures first however....
Pictures from when Eri and me went to the snow for snowboarding !! This was
outside of our cabin...6 inches overnight !
"Unicorn Cake" that Sar-baby and I made for our wonderful AP Stats teacher :) We
used fondant and silver edible powder to paint the fondant....it was a total
disaster in the making, but tasted so miraculous !! It was supposed to be red
velvet cake on the inside, but we used the wrong kind of food coloring and it
came out to be brownish pink......ugh. Still very yummy though :)
It didn't help either that we couldn't use the white sugar on
account there were ants in it...YUCK !

Cupcakes I made for Ryan, whom I asked to the Sadie Hawkin Dance today !! I was
so nervous but he said yes :)
Valentine's Day with my bestfriend in the entire world, Erica !!
So what is new in my life? Well, I am off of school for this entire week !! YAY.
makes me very happy....I'm going shopping tomorrow with Erica [bestfriend, not
my sister] for some new dresses...in desperate need !! Spring is coming :)
I am incredibly tired right now so I think I will go to sleep....I went to
the gym for a good 2 hours...It would definitely would not have been possible if
I didn't have Justin Timberlake blasting in my ears :)

UPDATE on goooods! Monday, February 9, 2009 -- HANNIE
hellooo! hannie here! i haven't blogged in so long! school has been sucking up
allllllll of my time. i dont even have free time anymore! this blog post is
seriously my first free moment since school started >.<. i'm taking too many
classes and i think i overdid it this semester. gah!!!
but i DID go shopping with my mom on saturday to stock up on our dwindling japanese food supply! :D

this is an award i received from my work, Banana Republic! it's very fitting, don't you think?? :D it's squishy and best of all, it's from our local Daiso !!
chips i got! umai and kiyahetsu! they're interesting flavors, and REALLY oishiii !
notepads i got from the Daiso! kawaii desu ne?? the pandapple key caps are from my co-worker/friend who gave them to me for valentine's day^__^
kore wa the CUTEST cup i have EVER seen! i love pandas, and when i saw this, i freaked out! i'm too nervous to use it, so it sits on my bathroom counter ^__^
a little bento set (also from Daiso) that my okaasan お母さんbought for me.
these are little cakes that i've always wanted to try. luckily, they were on promotion at Mitsuwa! the green ones are coconut and the brown ones are azuki あずき(red bean) fillings. they're quite good, not too sweet.
i decided to be courageous and buy candies that i've never tried before. the one on the left (kinakomochi 黄な粉もち) was a package of the limited edition chocos that i love so much. these weren't so good. the flavor was slightly bland. the Meiji milk chocolate bar on the other hand was AMAZING すごいい! it was soooo good.better than your average hershey's bar. and the green candy (haichyuu ハイチュウ) is a chewable candy that seems almost like gum. I also bought grape and strawbery, but they disappeared before I could take pictures.
the melon cream soda メロンクリームソーダwas super yummy! i think it's one of my favorites besides ramune ラムネof course. the green tea お茶i've had once before, and i really wanted to try it again.
i FINALLLLLLLLLY found the owl gel stick ons at Target! i've been so sad that I couldn't find them. ahh! i'm so happy i found them (in the valentine's section). sugoku kawaiiiiii desu neeee!?
so i've been kind of miffed a little. our Daiso has raised their prices yet AGAIN. it used to be a nice$1.50 per item, but now it's $1.69! i know the economy is bad, but still. oh welll! it just means that for every 4 items, you pay an extra dollar.
i went to a bakery called Tasty Bakery where they had so many fun and yummy pastries. I went with 私の彼し and it was super fun! here I'm eating a bbq pork bun called sa sieu pao? i can't spell.. but it was so good!

Wow it has been so long since Hannie or I have blogged !! We've just been so busy out of our minds to even function and we've just been so tired as well....like tonight for instance grawrrr jkajf;dakjf;a haha !! So I'll just post some photos from the past few weeks...it seems like we're really lazy too because all we do is post pictures rather than write things...

It's hard to believe we're already seniors....time really does fly. i remember
when i first met this guy four years ago... he was on crutches because of his
ankle or something and i thought he was so strange and shy!

Well it's only tuesday but it feels like it should be Friday....ahhhh! Me and
Eri are going snowboarding this weekend and staying in cabins yayayayayay :)
It's supposed to rain soon so that should be good for the snow making! It's our
first time but I'm determined to get it in ten minutes so that I can skip the
bunny slopes :) We're leaving Friday evening and then staying all the way
through Sunday...I'm very excited! *cheers*
