SUMMER SCHOOL IS FINALLY OVER!! I think I did well on my final exam...hopefully I get an A in the class! To celebrate, my best friends and I had a girls day! It's usually five of us, but one of the girls has been M.I.A. for TOO LONG! So we surprised visited her house, and it turns out she's okay. ^___^

We first started off by eating at our favorite greek restaurant where they have $1 specials! It's amazing.

Together we ate SEVEN plates of hummus and pita bread and two soup bowls!

We headed down into San Diego and went to the big mall down there. We wanted to buy SO MUCH but we seriously had a LOT of self-restraint! I haven't seen so much will power in forever... !

these Godiva chocolate bars are the only things we bought. :D

We passed this cute dog while walking.... He's nine years old! His owner said that his dog type is a "baby chihuahua". He's one tough little cookie! I couldn't help myself, I had to have a picture.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday I bought a cardigan. It's zebra stripes, but faded!

Here's a snapshot of my room. I love summer nights~ it makes the natural light in my room more warm at night. My walls are also kind of bare, but I like it like that. I dislike posters, etc. The open door goes to my mini bathroom and the closed door goes to my closet!

Oh yeah! I wanted to share a mug I bought a couple weeks ago! I have a little soft spot/weakness for coffee mugs and I had to have it! I bought it from Urban Outfitters~

A coffee mug on one side...

...and a tea cup on the other!

Okay! That's it for now. <3

TOFU & EDAMAME
TUESDAY, JULY 28TH, 2009

I'm going to be a little busy for the rest of this week because I have a Music class final this upcoming thursday and another test tomorrow (which i should be studying for right now...) But I had to share what my friend bought for me! It was purchased in Japan Town in San Francisco!!

I haven't named it yet... !

Also, I mentioned on twitter how much I loathe the Postal Service because they never deliver my packages! Welllll, after much grief I got it! haha, and it was a Mameshiba endless edamame toy I bought for my friend who bought me the tofu!

pardon my chipped nail polish -___-" but isn't Mameshiba so cute!?! There are 9 different faces that you can get, and you can't choose. It's all by chance!! If you are considering getting one, just let me know and I can tell you where I got it! <3

OK I really have to get back to studying!

COMIC CON 2009!
SATURDAY, JULY 25ND, 2009

Hello!! Sorry I haven't blogged in a couple days! I was out of the house for the day yesterday because of.... COMIC CON 2009 !!!! This year was my 3rd year of attending! It was super fun and we got a bunch of free stuff! It's custom every year [ for EVERYONE ] to be on the hunt for FREE BAGS, and we didn't acquire ours until the very end of the day -__-" But that's okay because we went to movie panels instead!

We saw Cameron Diaz, Denzel Washington, Elijah Wood, Jennifer Connelly, MEGAN FOX!, Gary Oldman, Robert Downey Jr., Rachel McAdams, Mila Kunis, James Marston, Josh Brolin, TIM BURTON!.......

I didn't spend as much as I thought I would this year! I only got two cute little vinyl toys!

Tokidoki's version of vinyl toys! The box is so cute, I am DEFINITELY keeping it haha!

here's a back view of the Rice Milk figure. Kawaii, yo!!

I also bought another toy, although it's not vinyl, but it fits into that small category of cute little toys! I usually don't collect things, especially something this kiddy, but everything is so cute that I can't resist.

this little thing is supposed to move and it makes noise! It's really heavy actually and when it moves, there's a little jingle from a little bell inside!

Here is my small collection so far. :D

DAISO RUN
WEDNESDAY, JULY 22ND, 2009

Only one more week of summer session and I will be DONE! I love my music class, but I'm getting tired of waking up at 6:10AM on a SUMMER day! I'm glad I have my friends to keep me sane.

Today I succumbed to the trend of fake Ray-Bans. I've held out for months, but the store I went to offered them for only $6!!!!!! I couldn't resist. They're all the rage in Japan and Korea... and my friend ended up buying them too after I showed her. I plan on making these into my REAL glasses!

I made a stop at the Daiso today with a couple of my friends. i wasn't expecting much, and the excitement of it has slightly worn off. I should really stop going for a while! Turns out, I had some cute finds!

What are these you ask? Little bows for my dogs to tie in their hair. End result? crap.

Doesn't Coco look ecstatic? Sad thing is, Coco is a boy dog -__-" Fail #1

Jolie is so scruffy that the flower just looks ridiculous. Fail #2

I satisfied my bunny craving by purchasing a neat little glasses pouch and a microfiber lens cleaner for my glasses AND camera!

This darn thing is so cute, and it even has a little string you can hang it on. The picture shows the thing hanging on the wall, while the girl looks happy..

This cleaner doubles as a finger puppet!

I also bought a little hand mirror. I don't carry my make up with me in my purse, but it's nice to have a little mirror to know if I have something embarrassing on my face.

My friend says it's very Anna Sui-esque...and I completely agree.

NON-GIRLY DAY
TUESDAY, JULY 21ST, 2009

These two past weeks have been SO HOT! I'm getting tired of this unforgiving heat. I do not know how I survived Disneyland this past weekend. Well, silly me, I wore leather leggings today. -__-" I woke up this morning with the uncommon urge to wear them.. and also I wanted it to be a non-girly day. I threw on my newly purchased t-shirt I bought over the weekend from Urban Outfitters. I love the scoop neck, and especially adore how it's a LOW scoop neck. I'm tired of those high necked shirts that make me feel like I'm choking. I also love the subtle pastel design and the fact that it's super long.

Please excuse my weird facial expression, i really don't know what I was saying.

That's the new bag I purchased [ also from Urban Outfitters ]. I'm a sucker for quilted designs and HAD to have it. The strap detailing is also super cute, it looks like a chain woven with leather.

In the last post I wrote about how I wanted to make that owl keychain into a necklace....and I did!

CHINA SECRETS
MONDAY, JULY 20TH, 2009

Instead of studying for my test, i decided to blog. What a great way to procrastinate! hah

So my sister came back from CHINA!!! I missed her SO SO SO SO much and im glad she's home! I am definitely jealous of her amazing experience, and I hope to go there someday.

I wanted to do a quick post of what she got me! :D

can you believe Pocky is only .30 cents!?

cute, HUGE vinyl bear. I started collecting Hello Kitty vinyls, and this TOWERS over them. looove it!

she knows my love of owls. mmmmmmmm.

this was the other side. cute huh!? I'm planning on making this a pendant for a necklace instead of a keychain. It would be much cuter that way, huh?

OK! back to studying. I'll probably post tomorrow again~ but until then!

COMMON NECESSITIES
FRIDAY, JULY 17TH, 2009

so i just deleted ALLL of my june blog entries...NOOOOO! i am so bummed. that was probably my favorite month that I've blogged so far... ugh. and there's no way i can retrieve it back because i was cut and pasting stuff. MAN!!! so bummed. oh well! i still have all the pictures and stuff, so hopefully I can reconstruct everything again. :)

anyways, remember how I bought that grey nightgown from Target? Well i decided to return it because it didn't fit well. I went back and browsed a little bit more and found the same thing, but in a shorts and shirt style!

the picture made them turn out to be kinda bright, but the pajamas are a little lighter than that. These are more comfy than the nightgown too!

I also found these!! They match my PJ set! I'm planning on taking these little booties to Japan with me. Can't wait!

Yesterday my friend and I visited the mall and I ended up buying some accessories from F21.

here is a ring I bought! the detail is seriously really cool. It took me a while to choose this one because they had this style but in different colors. I was debating between this one and another one with peacock colours.

I also bought these hair clips! I love fancy clips and I somehow lost all my old ones..but these are a good replacement! And that's a back view of the ring. :)

TONIGHT i leave for Disneyland and will be up in that area this whole weekend! I am so excited.<333 I hope everyone's summer is fun fun!

100 DEGREE WEATHER
SATURDAY, JULY 11TH, 2009

Today was a record breaking HOT DAY. At 10 AM it was 90 degrees! It was so hot I didn't even know what to do. So today we dropped off my youngest sister at the airport. She's leaving to San Francisco... and my other sister is in China. I'm all alone in my house now :( At least, this upcoming weekend I will be at Disneyland! I haven't been since last summer.

So to make me feel better, my parents took me to one of our favourite ramen places! Hahha, my parents appease me by going out to eat ^___^. I had Soy Sauce ramen! It was so yummmmy. Too bad the weather outside was hot and I was sweating while I was eating. grosss!

I spent the day with my mother today. We decided to head to the mall since it's air conditioned inside. We headed to my work and spent a little more than we should have. Damn my 50% discount! I ended up buying these pair of gladiator sandals that I've been eyeing FOREVER! They started off at $98 and with my 50% discount it would be about $50...which is definitely still out of my budget. So last week they got marked down to $14.99 !!!!!!!! SO AMAZING! I bought the same pair for my sisters to share since their feet are bigger than mine. We used to share shoes, but their feet grew and mine stayed the same :( We still share a bunch of shoes, but not really anymore.

i love them. They have two buckles that go up the leg...looove it!

these are the other pair I bought. I'm not sure if I'm liking the orange, but the style of it is cute and they were a good deal. I dont know what I would match these with either.

We went to Target and I bought party invitations for my Going Away Party! We also bought the party decor~ it's all pink, Hello Kitty themed! I'll take pictures on the day of the party :D

I also bought a skirt and a cute nightgown, which was first seen on Jenny's blog! Thanks to her I bought the cutest nightgown ever! :D

Also, one of my friends came back from Europe and he brought me back a snow globe from PARIS! :D :D :D

Since today was so hot, I decided to take pictures of my yard outside~ My yard only looks good during summer, so I'm taking every opportunity I can to enjoy it!

SHORT UPDATE
THURSDAY, JULY 9TH, 2009

I've been enjoying my summer so much that I've gotten a little lazy to update.

A couple days ago my friend and I decided to decorate some eggs. We wanted to surprise his mother, but apparently she hasn't eaten eggs lately -__-"

Two days ago a couple of my friends took me to a suspension bridge! It's one of those bridges you walk on and it sways back and forth. Picture people from prehistoric times or whatever connecting two cliffs together by making a bridge that sways back and forth. It was kind of like that, but not as primitive. I wasn't nervous at first, but as I got towards the middle of the bridge, I got a little scared and walked really fast to the other side.
