SEPTEMBER 29, 2008! pathetic-ness [NIA]
Well, it's just pathetic when your dinner = three fortune cookies whose fortunes say things like, "you're very persuasive". Okay,
I knew that already and that is like, the worst fortune ever. What the heck?
Today was the beach trip that the entire school took and how disgusting does that sound? I mean, 1400 kids frothing
at Camp Pendleton isn't exactly amazing or exciting. It's more like...gross. The sand was black and in your toes and too grainy...
I wished we had gone to C-Bad where we at least could have had decent weather...who likes swimming in freezing water with lightning
storms and downing temps? Yucko...no thank you.
Anyway, I think tomorrow I'm going to wear this exciting
Hello Kitty Tee dress ^_^ Brand new from yesterday.

Ahhh so kawaii. I think I want to get another one...but I guess I shouldn't seeing as my wallet only has like $30 something dollars in it...
I bought these Steve Maddens so I guess I should be happy :]

They kind of remind me of a night out with Blake Lively at a rock concert...that would be fun :D They're for homecoming. I got a strapless
red satin ruched dress that is a little above my knee...It's simple because the shoes play it up..but I still love it :D It might be too sexy though...eek!
Anyway, I definitely feel like a little girl nerd who can't control her sensitivity. I watched the season/show finale of Code Geass R2
[I
don't know if I should put this in the otaku section] and I just bawled my eyes out. I watched it twice. Ahh! But sheesh man...the Hitomi music made it even more profound.
I walked into Han's room and she was just like,
"Nia, just go look
at yourself in the mirror." What a mess
that was. Amazing Amazing.
I don't even know why I was crying that much...I guess I fell in love with Lelouch haha.
I hate being so sensitive. Maybe I just need a boy. Something cute like this:
[don't remember where
I found this]

Anyway, the night is young but it is 10 and I should sleep...I've got a long day tomorrow, especially after today...
I kinda want to do all of my homework in class tomorrow so that I can come home and sew something...I haven't in such a while. And
another pathetic thing: I was reading this seamstress critique that quoted,
"the most
essential thing to a good seamstress is a cutting table. If you are cutting
material on a cardboard piece laid out on your bed, one point off. If you are
cutting material on the floor, you lost the game." Ouch
and then double ouch. How sad is that? I do both.

SEPTEMBER 28, 2008! yay shopping!! [HANNIE]
sunday, 7:34pm, after a goood day of bargain shopping!
hiiiii!!!! i have SO much i want to blog about! okay first, let me explain my wonderful friday 金曜日 . i had school
in the morning, but only my Japanese class! i hung out with sarah-chan and lavinna-chan likee always, and we just talked
and got hyper [as always!!] and hung out.<3 i love our morning talks! so after Japanese class, i got to see Victor!
we accomplished alot! we went to Mitsuwa, where i got to see kouki-kun and ellis working again! yay!! me and
victor-kun struggled alot trying to decide which soda candy to buy for sarah-chan. hhaha, but in the end we chose Ramune candy!
picture:
mmm! victor bought his own pack and it was seriously yummmy. ^___^ we also bought a bottle of ramune soda! i love opening
the bottle! it's like a mini adventure.
so after our lovely excursion to Mitsuwa, we went to YOGURT WORLD!! on convoy! woooo. so yummy. おいしいですよ!
we shared a cup and mixed taro & green coconut. the mix was super yummy together! we also added lychee cubes,
jack fruit, logan, jellllies, and little mochis! mmm. i'm craving some right now. gahh!! x.X
our lovely cup, green and pink
spoons! so kawaii !! かわいい!
i guess someone wasn't ready for the camera :(
but he still looks cuuuuute! chuuu~
now you can see the two colors!
mmm, all finished! ^_____^
after yogurt world, we attempted purikura プリクラ。or more formally known as WOW! we seriously
did not know what to do! everything was in japanese, but i couldn't read everything. it all overwhelmed
me sooo much! this is our final product:
hahaha isn't he sooo cute? gahhh >.< hes so amaaazing. and now im getting sappy.
i didn't know how to erase, so my hiragana got allllllll messed up and i got so
bummed ! but we had so much fun and got so excited over everything. yaay!!
THEN, we went to his school's parking garage to take pictures of his car. i took
pictures of him instead. :D
heeheehee

the pictures came out so blurry, gahh!
i like the way he stands. <3
mmmm, i love my fridays.
SATURDAY 土曜日
saturday was a lazy day!! i cleaned and did all my chores. then i went to work from 5-9pm.
my family went to a switchfoot concert, and i missed out :( there were also a bunch of other
Christian
rock bands and im sad i missed out! but before i went to work, i shopped around the mall a little. i ended
up buying a pair of black suede ankle boots from Reflection! They were only $29.99. I bought the boots
for Japan for next year. yaaay! I also bought a new trench coat from Forever 21 for only $32.50!
i've been eyeing that trench for a while, it's so cute, it can be worn as a dress too! weee, i have a picture:
gah, my camera quality is lame, but that's what it looks like!
I also bought a shirt from forever 21 because quite frankly, i've been wearing the same shirts over and over again.
i haven't bought new clothes in such a long time because i'm saving, but dark purple is my
ALL TIME FAVORITE COLOR. gah!
i go goo-goo for anything dark purple!
you can't see the purple, but at least you can see the style of the shirt/dress/tunic whatever!
here is a better representation. yaay i love it. <333333
ALSO, earlier that day Nia and i went to go get boba at this cute little nook-in-the-wall cafe called Lollicup.
i got thai milk tea boba. mm so good. thats my favorite flavor. so connected to Lollicup is this little boutique called
Bacio. There i found a black dress for $5! it's super ugly on the hanger, but i tried it on and it's sexy. gah!
i never wear sexy, but this dress is niiiice and slick. and only $5! i love bargain shopping.
i know it looks ugly, but super cuuuute on!!
SUNDAY 日曜日
SO finally, today i had church and we had a bell choir performance! it was okay,
i didn't like the song much. but i went shopping again today with my mom and nia.
we went to TJ Max and i found the perfect pair of boots!!!!!! they go up to my
knee, and they're suede. mmm heaven. so i'm planning on returning the short
ankle boots i got because......TADA
!!
i got such a good deal on those boots! im so happy, now i have boots for japan.
i am alllll set. <3
and lastly, i got....
a HARAJUKU LOVERS BAG! gahh!!!!! i got such a good price on that too! eeeee, my other one
is kind of wearing out, and i've never seen this one before! eeee, i got so excited.
so that is basically enough spending for probably 4 months. hahahaha. my mom also bought me and my sisters
some cute leggings, we needed new black leggings and we also got some shiny grey ones.
i also bought lavinna her much awaited birthday present....i would post
pictures, but i don't want to give it away! i also got tina's bday present too!!
i feel very accomplished. this was the longest blog post EVER. tired me out. ok
gooood night! oyasumi !

SEPTEMBER 27, 2008! fashion show [NIA]
had a grueling day of dress fitting. okay, not that grueling, but I don't think my eyes can stand the sight of anymore
candy-coated colors of flashy, scrunchy, itchy, shiny dresses anymore. UGH. went to Damari's Boutique today to try on some
dresses for the Homecoming Fashion show...settled for a strapless bubble that is a lavendar which shines a blue in the light.
Joey [my partner for the show] can be quoted to say, "I walked into the tux shop just expecting to wear purple. You WOULD choose that."
Sorry Jo, I can't help it if I gravitated towards the dress! It fit me best :D !!
Afterwards, Hannie and I went to Lollicup for some BOBA! We both got milkteas [thai] and a little kid took our order :D
He was only slightly annoying that he knew how to work the cashier machine...I think his dork brother was in the corner on the computer
playing some weird hunting game.
Anyway, after that we went to the connecting boutique called BACIO where Han bought a slinky dress and I got this adorable creation:

the colors remind me of cotton candy at a carnival.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2008! bugs bite [NIA]
HECK YES THEY DO. I have about like five on my body right now from being at the filthy school. It's absolutely disgusting.
I swear it's from the floor of the weight room when I was doing ab work. Filthy.
Anyway, for some reason I had such a down week! Every day was like blechh blahh yucko. But then I talked on the phone
with Bobby Concannon, one of my lifelong friends forever. It's so hard to believe that I've only
REALLY known him for
two months...but it's like those months faded into years and years of friendship. Corny, oh gosh. But great, nonetheless.
I feel like our entire group was made for each other
[Bobby, Julia, Aaron, Greg, Chris]. We honestly just go too well together.
As crazy as it sounds, I trust these people more than anything, more than the people I've known for so long. That one week in SF
probably changed my life...I found a mish mash of people who serve as my family outside of my family. Unbelievable.
And while we are on the topic of friends and all that typical jazz, I just want to say that Lloyd Petrumgaro is amazing. Honestly,
it's like how some people may be cool in the moment, Lloyd is cool for all time. I was hanging out with him today and it was the first time
I'd just talked and basked in the way we were for a while. I guess I just felt a nostalgia for last year because my memory is refreshed
when I realize that Lloyd is the boy who has my back and is always down for a talk and to help and to put others above himself.
He's himself, and I'm so glad to have him. Taylor Mullen & I chilled for a while and its weird how some people just click, yanno? I love her too.
And I keep thinking about the after-time. The after-time of highschool. I don't just mean a year from now...but
yearssss. I won't ever
talk to the people from my school again...other than a handful. And I'm fine with that, strangely. It's the people who are down for life
that mean the most. And yeah they'll come and go...but like the ocean tide, it's just natural. And I'm fine with that too. You just gotta find
your place and deal and live and accept. Find those who mean the world to you.

SEPTEMBER 25, 2008! initial d. [hannie]
thursday, 9:02pm, just got home & sooo tired. >.<
woooow, school has been kicking me
in the butt! i've been studying SO much lately, it's crazy. i've been super
tired and falling asleep early at night now. studying paid off though! i got a
97% on my PSYC 210 first test! woohoo! ^__^ and today i received my psyc
statistics test back and i got a 96%! i never do that well in math. gahh!
so i ordered a Japanese slang book from half.com.
it was only $1 !! i have never spent SO little on a book!
TODAY was a prettttty fun day. there was a party in the global education
office and me, sarah-chan, lavinna-chan, sue and walid stuffed ourselves
with cheesecake, fruit, and cheeese! and hitoshi-kun surprised me by introducing
me to one of his friends named Minyung (spelling is wrong, i'm sure). Minyung
is a りゆうがくせい (international student) !!!!!!! his
english was soo cutesy, and i loved his accent. his english style was slightly
different and i was wondering if that's how my Japanese is. hitoshi-kun was
laughing the whole time ! hahaha. ^___^
that reminds me...I'M going to be an international student in
ONE YEAR !! ohh my gosh! i can't
wait. i need to start buying winter clothes for next year! i'll be leaving next
august-septemberish, and there won't be winter clothes for me to buy! i want to
buy new boots and some peacoats. gah! last week i put away $50 into my Japanese
fund..and i feel as though that fund will run out fast. gah! >.< maybe for christmas i'll ask my family for
some things.
OK! so today i went to sarah-chan's house andd hung out with her, lavinna-chan,
angela and trisha! i met trisha for the first time and she's super sweet. it was
a girl's night. we talked for so long, went out to buy pizza & drinks, and then
watched Initial D!

this is Jay Chou....the main character. kawaii desu ne??!
ooooooookay i am super tired and i think i'm going to sleep right now. i have a
big day tomorrow.
oyasumi!

SEPTEMBER 23, 2008! golf course [NIA]
Erin had to come over to borrow attire to wear onto the golf course for some picture taking...Senor Poole wouldn't let her on
wearing her rainbows...what kind of rule is that...no flip flops on the course? Ack. So she borrowed my Country Club dress ^_^

This week = dud.

SEPTEMBER 22, 2008! something scary [NIA]
UGH. This dress.I kind of want to burn it.....

How terrifyingly ugly is it?! VERY. It looks like a dress you would wear at a pilgrim's funeral. And you may ask WHY
am I wearing this hideous frock? Because of my committance to Advanced Chorus. They should pay me to wear this dress.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that we have to wear these matching pearl necklaces & clip-on earrings. How darling. [ugh.
CLIP-ONS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD]. Can I burn the darn thing? I HATE THEM!

Anyway, on to a more important topic. What dress to wear to Homecoming? Or more importantly,
WHO to go with to homecoming...?
The person I originally had in mind has pathetically dropped off of my liking radar. I think I realized that I'm not all
that into them as much as I initially thought...Which is good for them because I don't want to cause the trouble I did for the past
two years. Anyway, I feel a strange sense of freedom, in the fact that if I go alone, so the eff what? But if I have a date,
that's cool too...now to find someone to ask me ^_^ haha who knows? Anyway, my ideas for dresses:

The first is a REEM ACRA dress, Spring 2008 collection. I might be able to prototype it with some good material and make it
shorter [like a little above the knee length], for a fresher feel. The second dress is a
HOUSE OF HOLLAND [whom I love by the way]. I
love the rocker feel to it and it would look great with long, long hair. I think I'm digging interestingly-sleeved dresses, no?
I am.
Anyway, that is all for tonight...I have to get started on
AP STATS homework yucko!

SEPTEMBER 21, 2008! funfun. [HANNAH]
6:20pm - sitting and
procrastinating on homework
So this weekend was amazing! せんたくだ!
Friday was exciting. so much happened! let's just say it was fulfilled by seeing
my other half, almost taking purikura, eating authentic Japanese foods, and
going to his friend's [birthday] party. i had so much fun! i finally got to meet
his friends, which made me happy. >.< i hate being so shy around so many people
i don't know!
Saturday Nia and Erica left for 6 flags, leaving me at home by myself :( i woke
up with the worst headache ever! never never again. i went to Mitsuwa with my
mama and we restocked on our dwindling Japanese food supply. yum.
おいしい! We also went to Marukai まる会 for
the first time, it's slightly cheaper than Mitsuwa, but I will always have a
special place in my heart for Mitsuwa. hahaha. I also got to see Kouki
こうき andEllis !!! I was so happy, yay :D ♥ After
buying food my mom bought me the latest Eragon book called Brisingr. yay, i'm
such a nerd, but i don't care! originally it was $27, but with a member discount
and an extra coupon i bought it for $18! woohoo!!
I had work at 5pm - 9pm. It wasn't too bad, our manager let us leave a
little early. I was running a slight fever that day, and I really do not know
why! I was feeling super sick, and I think it was because of friday night.
Joseph called me, and we planned to meet up so that we could go to Michael's
party. good thing Michael is my neighbor, so the drive home would be 10 feet.
hhaha. I was deciding to not go because I felt so sick, but I actually did end
up going. I saw Michael and I haven't seen him in forever! the birthday boy is
all grown up. I saw a bunch of people i haven't seen in forever too, and im glad
i ended up going, even if it was for a little bit.
PICTURES!
i forgot to post a picture of my new planner. Isn't it super kawaii !? i got it
from Barnes&Noble.
these are japanese candies that
Hitoshi
gave me! They're from Japan. yay i was
so excited, i couldn't eat them. ^_^

these are the snacks my mama bought for me. yaay! aren't they so cutesy and
colorful? I got Hitoshi some of the japanese candy. Hopefully he does not see
this blog post or else the surprise will be ruined!

yaay! this is
super milk tea love. me & nia love love love milk tea. we even had
a small fight over milktea, which i will not go into detail about... but the end
result = more milk tea! and yes, that is sake too! mmm. i heart calpico too, but the
sugar content is too much. eeeegad.

this is yummy udon my mama made! mmm.
oishii!
my own copy of Brisingr! i haven't started reading it yet, which is a huge
bummer!
okay i think i've procastinated waay too much. soo goodbye!
love hannie.
SEPTEMBER 19, 2008! PURCHASES [NIA]
Moshi Moshi! oh how I have missed blogging so so incredibly much. I was so desperate that I had to resort to writing [yes, WRITING]
in my paper journal...why write when you can go digital? This is such an incredible relief now that all of the bugs are sorted
out and everything! Hannie, my darling lovely sister, you did quite the amazing job on this layout. You know how much I love the
models Tsubasa Masuwaka &
Yui Kanno....!!
Well, here are the latest wastings away of my money ^_^ Who doesn't just love materialistic sales?

Well, I could not resist buying a milk tea when we went to
MITSUWA last weekend...[just before we went to the Padres game].
And I got my latest order from HARD CANDY, which by the way, had a 75% off everything sale! So I couldn't help but purchase
a sweet musky perfume and three lipglosses called "baby doll". They smell yummy too...! And then of course, my monthly dose of Japanese magazines...
I absolutely adore them. And new knee high sheer socks! [From
Banana Republic, where Hannie works] We got them on sale for less than a dollar thanks to
amazing discount advantages ^_^

UGH. How terrible is it to be so in love with clothing and buying things? I need a job. It is gigundolously pathetic. I think I'll put an add in
the weekly newsletter for my amazing babysitting skills. And tutoring skills in Geometry&Algebra. Money just reminds me of that overplayed
M.I.A. song...
You know, the "all I wanna do is POW! POW! POW! POW! and a ... $$$$CHING$$$$"!!
Well, I'll end this here. It is Friday and I have an entire night to just kick back and do something. Besides, I've gotta go pack my overnight bag
for the trip tomorrow ^_^ Magic Mountain for TWO DAYS with Greg, Aaron, Bobby, and Jules Bozarth ^_^ YAY.
